Engine management systems are often misdiagnosed by just having a code read and then a part replaced in error. This is a costly and very inefficient way of diagnosing any problem, some parts can cost as much as a thousand euro and are non-returnable.

The problem is you end up paying for this and any other parts required to eventually fix your problem.
